Description
Hugh Goodwin Elementary established twenty-two raised bed gardens in October 2019. The beds are used with 500 K-4th grade students. Each classroom has a bed and uses it to teach about the importance of growing crops. Students get a hands-on approach to learning through the use of the gardens.
