Arkansas Artisan Markets

Here in Arkansas, artisan markets offer more than just homemade products and locally-sourced produce. They serve as a bedrock for communities large and small across the state. Full of people, experiences, tastes, stories, and memories, places like these cannot be replicated anywhere else.

Making a purchase at an artisan market is not the only highlight of the experience. More often than not, you will get a chance to learn the history of every vendor and the story behind every one of their items. At these unique places, you leave with more than a few knickknacks. You gain wisdom into their creative process and discover a certain attachment to the people who make it possible. Consider how long you visit with vendors the next time you drop by an Arkansas artisan market to fully appreciate the experience as a part of your purchase.

Miracle Farms Market

At Miracle Farms Market, it truly takes a village. Located in Bodcaw, Arkansas, this eclectic market brings local artisans and growers together to offer a litany of products and events that breathe life into their quaint town of fewer than 200 people.

Drawing from three generations of experience, and with a helping hand from other local producers, this place is one of festivity. The Miracle Farms Market hosts events and celebrations throughout most of the year to bring people together, offering everything from locally handmade trinkets to baked goods, and everything in between. They pride themselves on offering Arkansas Made and Arkansas Grown products only, as their success is attributed to the support and productivity of their farm and their local neighbors

Arkansas Grown

The vast offerings of locally grown produce is part of Miracle Farms’ allure. Vegetables and fruits, pies and bread, honey and jams, chicken, beef, and pork are just a handful of things they offer on any given day. By pooling resources with neighboring farmers, Miracle Farms Market has just about everything you would expect from any produce aisle.

They offer plump watermelons that are as sweet as they are juicy, and pumpkins of every size in the fall. Depending on the season, you can expect to find a cornucopia of fruits and veggies such as:

  • Ripe Tomatoes
  • Salad Tomatoes

  • Bell Eggplant
  • Japanese Eggplant
  • Red Potatoes

And much, much more.

On the flip side, you can get some of the freshest locally raised meat right there on the farm. Miracle Farm Market offers beef, pork, chicken, and more. Arkansas Made

Miracle Farms Market depends on its artisanal flair to diversify their sales. Local makers from their area bring all kinds of nifty things that are as charming as they are useful. For example, this year they held an antique quilt market event that had hand-stitched quilts that were over 100 years old! They have also brought in handmade soaps, jams, cupcakes, pies, and more. Any given day at the market brings something new, so check in regularly!

One-of-a-kind experience

At Miracle Farms Market, you don’t show up just to shop. The experience is what makes a visit invaluable and worthwhile. Throughout the year they put on BBQs, festivals, holiday specials, and more.

In the past they held a BBQ and Swing event that hosted a live band and served fresh food, such as brisket and pulled pork, sourced straight from their farm! In the fall, they have pumpkin-painting events for kids, as well as a host of vendors who sell fall decorations, clothing, and other goods from local Arkansas artisans.
