For over a decade, City Farm Conway has been offering up local farm products to the community. Mr. Baker developed his green thumb in the large gardens of both sets of grandparents. For a quarter of a century now, Mr. Baker has been farming on his own, either by gardening or raising livestock. He finds it vital to farm sustainably and regeneratively by using no-till and organic practices. Garden crops on the farm vary every year, but the farm has produced cool-season crops like: arugula, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, chives, garlic, kale, lettuce, mustard, onions, peas, radishes, spinach, chard, and turnips. He has produced warm-season crops like: beans, cantaloupe, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, ginger, okra, southern peas, peppers, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, watermelon, and zucchini. He also loves to cultivate culinary and medicinal herbs and flowers. All plants on the farm are organically raised and all seeds are from Organic GMO-Free stock.
Since 2016, City Farm Conway has raised purebred pasture-raised chickens mainly for egg production. Breeds have included: Ameraucanas, Marans, Leghorns, Rhode Island Reds, and Silkies. In the past, the farm has also reared Coturnix and Bobwhite Quail.
Since 2019, the farm has raised honey bees and produced bee products like pollen, propolis, and most notably wildflower honey. The farm has multiple bee yards throughout the city, and thus collects a diverse variety of pollen and nectars to suit local residents. Many Conway natives have said it's the best honey they've ever eaten!
At the beginning of 2025 the farm welcomed registered Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and in the future will offer goat's milk and other products.
Currently, the main focus of the farm is providing honey products for the public.
