Description

Havencroft Farm is located in north central Arkansas, in the heart of the Ozarks. We raise Jacob Sheep and dairy goats. We tend the woodlot above our pastures to provide shade for the animals, some space for forest gardening and to harvest handles for the brooms we craft. Shawn Hoefer and Radha Larson hand tie award winning brooms that work well and are works of art to display in your home. Jeanette Larson weaves rugs, scarves and shawls from the wool from our sheep. Jacob sheep are black and white spotted. Both ewes and rams have two to six horns. They are resistant to parasites, and handle the heat well. They are excellent homestead sheep.

We also raise East Friesian Dairy Sheep and dairy goats that give us lots of sweet, fresh milk that we make into cheese sell directly from the farm in season or at the Stone County Farmer's Market.
