Leis Creek Cattle Company began in 2013 with the idea of a hobby farm in Paron, Arkansas on 87 acres and 26 head of Red Angus cattle, purchased from a lifelong cattleman who has become a mentor and special friend to us. We quickly realized our passion for raising cattle and decided to fulfill a need for local farm raised beef to our fellow Arkansans. We developed a strong commitment to providing our animals a low stress environment, adhering to meticulous husbandry skills and growing them slowly and naturally. We’ve since then expanded our farm to Clinton, Arkansas with over 1,000 acres of lush, green Arkansas pastures where our cattle are raised.  Our cattle have continuous access to 5 large pastures, where they graze throughout their lives. We raise our cattle in their natural environment that keep our stock healthy and happy every step of the way

* All Natural -We never use antibiotics, hormones, nitrates/nitrites, artificial flavoring or preservatives, GMOs, or steroids. Our herd grazes on Bermuda and Wheat pastures and receives all-natural finishing grain. Our focus on superior genetics is a point of pride which results in animals with structural soundness, low birth weight, calving ease, and ultimately high-quality offspring.

* Dry Aged Beef -We dry age our beef for an average of 21 days. Dry-aging beef is a process that involves hanging freshly slaughtered beef in a temperature-controlled environment for anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or more before being trimmed and cut into steaks. During this process, naturally occurring chemical changes, including bacterial, enzymatic breakdown, and oxidation, cause the meat to become more tender and flavorful. It is the depth of flavor and tenderness that creates value and sets dry-aged beef apart from what is found in the average grocery store.

* USDA Inspected Processing Facility-We process our cattle in house at our USDA inspected facility in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to ensure the highest quality product reaches your table. Owning and operating our own plant allows us to maintain quality control and tailor orders for the specific needs of our customers.
